The deLacey Center is a new year-round facility that houses the district's pre-K children with special needs and those at risk. A 'pod" configuration of four classrooms, toilet facilities, and a central gathering space break down the scale of the facility. Working with the District's construction manager, BCA worked through a number of building systems and exterior construction types so that the maximum amount of space could be build with the available dollars.

Funding for the project was a direct result of referendum cost savings realized by the district due to actual construciton costs coming in under the original estimated costs of building programs throughout District 300, the conservative use of CBD dollars, and the result of bond sales.
