| In January 1998, Monmouth College commissioned
BCA to complete a Campus Master Plan through the year 2020, including
short-term and long-term facility and planning solutions. BCA
led a team of college trustees, faculty and students in developing
a road map for future growth. |
| The master plan was used to define future
boundaries of the campus and established priorities for land
acquisition. The plan identified future buildings and facilities
necessary to meet the needs for the projected growth of the college.
The adopted master plan reinforces the existing building placement
of the perimeter of an open space and also establishes gateways
into the campus for both vehicles and pedistrians. The collaborative
efforts of the BCA design team, the college board of trustees,
faculty and the current student body are all represented in the
plan. Buildings currently under construction adhere to the plan. |
