The facility was designed to provide academic programs and child care children of university students, faculty, and staff. The new child care center consists of 13 care classrooms, a child development lab, multipurpose/commons area, food service, and office support spaces. There are two exterior playgrounds set in a wooded terrain, offering a quiet natural focus for the center.
